Jones had a great day at the plate. He had the crowd cheering his every move. He doubled which was good for two runs in the 1st inning, doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 2nd inning and cleared the fences for a two-run home run (his 21st of the season) in the 8th inning. For the game Dart out-hit Chainsaw 18 to 7. The victory went to Kirk Rueter(8-12) who went 8 innings, allowing 5 runs. John Thomson(7-12) suffered the loss. He allowed 5 runs and 5 hits in 2/3 of an inning. 'It's almost like the ball was trying to hit my bat,' Jones said. 'Whenever I would swing, the ball found the sweet spot.'
